How well prepared are you on managing and controlling sustainability issues on your construction-project?

Being in control on important issues such as adherance with collective agreements and proper management of workers health and safety are crucial, but not simple tasks, and the devil is often in the detail.

Working as a Client or Contractor on construction projects in the Nordic Region is technically and financially already a tough challenge, and if you are not in control of your sustainability issues you risk to suffer even more.

This is why I have founded Nordic Construction Agency – a Nordic based consultancy company - to assist you on the crucial sustainability issues related to the construction sector. 

During the latest years in Denmark and Norway  contractors have been fined with single amounts up to 4 million Euros due to lack of compliance with labour rules and collective bargaining agreements.

When this happens, not only the contractors are hit. The connected Client-organization often suffer accordingly. In the Nordic Region lack of compliance with for example labour rules and tax-law are ruled  with great severity.

To prevent these risks timely risk mitigation and preparations are key exercises, that you have to undertake in due time, before it is too late. 

Do not underestimate the amount of hours of work you have to put in to this crucial exercise, if you want to reduce your risks on sustainability and complete succesfully. 

During the latest eight years I have worked as a director on the two biggest construction projects in Denmark - The Cityringen Metro project and the Fehmarn-tunnel project. On the contractor- and client-side.

I have worked with a broad variety of issues on these projects, implementing significant turnaorunds, developing new solutions and solving serious problems. 

I have also worked as a consultant in Norway, Finland and Sweden.

As a manager and head of communication in several companies and organisations I have extensive coorporate and international experience. +20 years experience within management, business analysis, organization and communication.
